1. Introduction to the program process:
   The dust-free workshops in the electroplating and spraying industry can be divided into two categories: the first is the continuous spraying of semi-finished products under batch production conditions, which is usually carried out in a spraying room with ventilation and dust removal equipment, and then dried, such as automobiles, tractors and The paint workshop of the bicycle factory. The other type is single-piece small batch production, and the semi-finished product is painted at the fixed point of the workshop, and then dried, such as the paint workshop of the heavy machinery factory, mining equipment factory, and general machinery factory.

The final process of making each part in the machine tool factory is painting. The general process of painting the machine tool and its parts is:
Rust removal -- primer -- drying -- putty -- drying -- putty smoothing -- blowing -- painting -- drying.
In the past, the paint workshops of machine tool factories, general machine factories and machine parts factories generally did not have ventilation and dust removal facilities. In order to improve the working conditions of workers, the paint workshops of several machine tool factories have been designed and modified for ventilation and dust removal, which not only effectively eliminates toxic substances. And dust, and to ensure the smooth progress of the production process.
2. Determination of ventilation and dust removal design scheme
1. Determine the ventilation and dust removal method
How to effectively eliminate the harmful substances in the air and design a reasonable ventilation and dust removal device has always been a topic studied by the professional workers. The following takes the paint workshop of a medium-sized machine tool factory as an example, and determines the design plan according to the characteristics of the machine tool paint workshop. The workshop has a large building space, and the rust removal, painting, putty grinding, and painting of the processed parts are all carried out in the workshop; the paint workpieces are large and small, the large one is an integral machine tool weighing more than five tons, and the small one is less than five kilograms. Parts; workshop; A large crane is installed above. The ventilation and dust collector of this paint workshop should adopt a centralized horizontal air duct for uniform air supply and local exhaust air. The air supply air flow is along the direction of the dust removal and suction port, which promotes the collection and suppression of poisonous gas and dust. Dust is flying.
2. Design of exhaust device
The exhaust device should be designed according to factors such as the size of the paint workpiece, the shape of the workpiece and the convenience of operation. As shown in Figure 1, there are three forms. The first is the trench suction type.
It is suitable for integral machine tools and large casting workpieces. The suction port is arranged on the ground on both sides of the workpiece, and there is a cast iron cover plate with slits on the suction port. The toxic gas enters the underground air duct through the slits of the cover plate and is discharged.
The second is the double-sided aspirating type.
It is suitable for small and medium-sized workpieces. The worktable and the suction port are set on both sides along the direction of the air supply air flow. The height of the worktable and the suction port are determined according to the size of the workpiece and the convenience of the worker's operation. The height of the workpiece generally does not exceed the height of the exhaust hood.
The third is fully aspirated
It is suitable for larger and lighter shell parts. The suction port is installed on the work surface with ventilation openings. Harmful gases and dusts enter the air duct through the ventilation holes of the workbench and are discharged to the outside.
3. The characteristics of this ventilation and dust removal method and exhaust device are:
a. The air flow is organized reasonably. Due to the method of sending up and down, the operator can take a shower with fresh air at any time, and the toxic gas and dust with a specific gravity slightly heavier than the air can be eliminated in time.
b. The workers are flexible and convenient to operate, and the lifting, loading and unloading are unobstructed.
c. The painting processes such as painting and drying are carried out in the same place, and there is no need to separate the painting room and the drying room, saving manpower and material resources.
3. Design of ventilation and dust removal system
3.1. Design of air supply device
a. Air supply system flow
The air supply device is designed according to the uniform air supply of the horizontal air duct. The so-called uniform air supply of the horizontal air duct means that the same amount of air is sent out from the side holes on the air duct at the same outlet speed. That is, the air speed of each air outlet is equal to the air volume. In summer The outdoor fresh air is filtered and sent directly to the workshop. In winter, the outdoor cold air is filtered and heated to 28°C and sent to the workshop.
b. Arrangement of air supply pipes
The air supply side holes on the horizontal air duct for air supply in the paint workshop are at a distance of three meters. Calculate the length of the air supply duct according to the size of the workshop. The upper side hole of the horizontal air duct is inclined downward at a 15-degree angle to the horizontal direction.
c. Calculation method of uniform air supply duct
There are several side air outlets on a long horizontal air supply duct. To achieve the same air volume and wind speed at each side air outlet, the only way to achieve uniform air supply is to use the principle of static pressure recovery. In order to achieve this principle To meet the requirements, the shape of the longitudinal section of the air duct is designed to be a gradual shape. The calculation method of this variable cross-section air duct is the static pressure recovery method. That is to gradually reduce the dynamic pressure of the pipe section to increase the static pressure of the pipe section, so that the two side air supply ports are connected to each other. The static pressure between the two points is equal to the frictional resistance between the two points to determine the cross-sectional size of the air supply duct.
